Your Head Blogtender, Rose Maura Lorre, has written for The New York Times, Entertainment Weekly, Time Out New York, Glamour, Men’s Health, Marie Claire, Cosmopolitan, Maxim, The New York Post, New York Daily News, andSeattle Weekly. 

She is a food critic and contributing writer for St. Louis Magazine, and previously served as restaurant critic for theRiverfront Times, St. Louis’ alt-weekly paper. In 2005, she was awarded First Place for Best Restaurant Criticism by the Association of Food Journalists for her work in the RFT.

Rose has bartended at The Royale Food & Spirits in St. Louis, recipient of numerous local and national awards and accolades since opening in 2005. She is a graduate of the Columbia University School of Mixology, which is actually not all that impressive.

PhoBlograpHusband(photographer/blogger/husband) Sean Lorre is a part-time college lecturer and full-time Ph.D. candidate in musicology at McGill University. He holds a Master’s in Jazz History and Research from Rutgers University-Newark. He is the bassist in The Sharpe James, which is quite impressive.

Rose and Sean currently live in Montreal, Quebec.
